Review: Freeman's Facial Polishing & Purifying Masks

I popped by my local pharmacy because I was feeling down and knew I had to spend money to fill the gaping void in my soul. There, I found Freeman face masks for $8.70 on sale! I've had mixed experiences with face masks, I find they often dry out my skin far too much but my skin has changed over the years (less oily, less dry) so i thought it would be a good time to try out these cult favourites.

Left to right: acai clay mask, charcoal and black sugar polishing mask
I wanted to try the avocado mask but they were on a clearance sale so I had to take what was left (I sadly had to leave behind the pineapple and strawberry masks). I'm really happy with what I got though and the quality of the products.

The acai berry purifying clay mask is my favourite out of the two. It feels so soothing on the skin before it begins to dry, then you can feel your face tightening and being cleansed. It isn't over drying, which I was worried about. I leave it on for 5 minutes before washing it off with warm water. My face is left baby smooth and clean feeling.

The charcoal polishing mask is one I've never tried anything similar to before. It's technically an exfoliating mask, as you rub it on your face and after the 5 minutes, when you wash it off you scrub the sugar into your face to exfoliate. I was worried about it being to harsh on my skin but it figured out okay in the end. Once again, my skin was left baby smooth and shining. After a good moisterise, it looked and felt amazing.

Hey y'all!
I love wearing face masks. I love looking spooky while painting my nails or wearing my leopard print shower cap. I also loved these face masks and desperately want more (though I can't justify it). My face hasn't reacted badly at all and my face feels amazing after using them. I would highly recommend them, especially considering their price! Honestly, they're on the same level as other higher-end face masks I've used. Buy them, buy them, buy them!

What is your favourite face mask?

xo Bridget
